Leigh Freeman is the principal of Leigh K. Freeman Attorney at Law PLLC founded in 2017.  Ms. Freeman has been practicing civil law since 2003. She has represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of fields including real estate, franchises, oilfield services,  IT, financial services, and energy, to name a few.  She also works with families with preparing their estate plan.   

Ms. Freeman spent the first five years of her career focusing on complex commercial litigation at a downtown Denver general practice firm. After moving to The Woodlands, Ms. Freeman was Of Counsel for a local general practice firm.  In this role, she continued to litigate business disputes, as well as expanded her practice to include representation of clients in transactional matters including, drafting, reviewing and negotiating various business agreements.

Ms. Freeman is on the Board of Directors of The Woodlands Bar Association, as well as a member of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Freeman is a 2003 graduate of the University of Denver, College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Freeman served as a Staff Editor of the University of Denver Law Review and won the Hoffman Trial Competition and Natural Resources Appellate Competition. As a law student, Ms. Freeman completed an internship with the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. As an undergraduate, she was inducted as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and served as the Co-captain and national qualifying attorney for the University’s Mock Trial Team.
